Which battery fits your home?
Store cheap power and use it when it counts — with or without solar panels.

Fox ESS Mini Qube
Everyday power. Expandable storage.
Only the master unit carries the inverter — expansion modules add storage, not power. Up to 800 W through the socket, and up to 1.2 kW from the built-in appliance outlet, at every size.

Marstek Venus E
More power for higher-demand homes.
Plugged in, each Venus E gives up to 800 W. Professionally installed, each unit can give up to 2.5 kW — our installer gets the network consents needed. ENA register ref: OCTRA/20617/V1.
Questions
What's the difference between Marstek Venus E and Fox ESS Mini Qube?
Fox keeps a fixed inverter on the master unit (800 W through the socket, 1.2 kW appliance outlet) and adds storage in 2.11 kWh modules. Venus E gives up to 800 W plugged in, or up to 2.5 kW per unit when professionally installed with the relevant consents.
Do I need a micro-inverter for solar?
With Venus E, yes — the solar kit includes the Marstek 800 W micro-inverter. The Fox Mini Qube Hybrid takes panels straight into the battery, so you only need the panels, saving £100.
Can I use a battery without solar?
Yes. Charge from the grid at cheaper times and use that power when prices are higher.
